After completing his primary studies at ‘Dharmadutha College’ in Badulla, Rukmal pursued his higher studies at ‘NICK J Academy’ during the year 2015 in professional modeling. With an innate talent and dedication he not only established himself well into the fashion industry but also obtained a diploma from the ‘Asian Academy of Commercial Studies’ In 2017 he then represented the country as Mr. Sri Lanka at the ‘Global Youth Ambassador contest in Philippines, by securing the 2nd runner’s up position with 3 international mini titles including best in talent against 50 countries and elevating the name of his motherland.

Popularly known as the ‘Fire Man’, he then joined the field as a professional choreographer and showed off his talents by representing Sri Lanka at ‘Miss & Mrs Nobel Queen – 2018, ‘Man of the World 2019’ & ‘Miss, Mr & Mrs Sri Lanka’ contest as the national choreographer . Recognizing his talents at these mega productions, an international modeling agency in Philippines invited him to be their International Choreographer. The pageant that changed Sri Lankan history, 15 contestants being coached by Rukmal,who went on to win the title of ‘Mrs. World 2020’. Working as the coach ‘Mrs. Tourism 2019′ international contest,’Miss International Tourism Queen’,’Mr. Nobel King 2019′ contest ,2022 International tourism queen winner , are milestones that Rukmal holds significant in his life. From 2019 onwards Rukmal has been the official choreographer for Mrs Sri Lanka, For 11 years Rukmal Senanayake has endeavored to master the Sri Lankan traditional martial art ‘Angampora’ martial art skills . In 2020 to 2023he worked as the professional trainer for ‘Next Sri Lanka’s Top model contest & ‘Surya Udana’ contest, Mr & Miss Teen Sri Lanka 2021 to 2023, smart style awurudu Kumara kumariya2022, CJ royal Awurudu Kumara kumariya 2022 to 23 , Mrs Earth 2023 , Queen of International Tourism 2023. Also one of the world best Beauty pageant Miss Earth Sri Lanka 2023.

with his experience in the industry his talent was identified due to which he was appointed as the Admin director of “Prachanda “, Sri Lanka’s largest Dancing Performance.

He also held the position of National Director for ‘Mrs Tourism 2020’, ‘Mr. Nobel King’ 2020, ‘Miss International Tourism Queen’ 2020 and currently the Managing Director of ‘Model With Ruki. Also he is G20 economic forum ambassador for European Union.

Through his vast experience in the modeling and entertainment industry, this individual understands the preference of the audience, based on self instinct and experience he tends to create unique choreograph routes that are unique and specific to each and every pageant.

Mr.Rukmal Senananayake’s approach can be considered as different and innovate according to his idealogy, he would never create two choreograph routes in the same method, which is one of the reasons that this individual has been able to have a steady growth in the industry.

After many years of learning and implementing, in the year 2022 Mr.Rukmal Senananayake started his own modeling school, to educate new and former models outside the beauty pageant framework, “Model with Ruki”, is now one of the only modeling schools in Sri lanka that has created the highest amount of beauty queens.
